Goldie joined our herd in Spring 2012. Early on, she showed the gentleness and patience needed for LHG. Over the summer, she filled out, and we are working toward using her with our troopers.

SPURS lessons: She did some work during camp, but needs to be ridden a little more by staff & 4/5 SPURS and tried on trails before using for troopers.

Goldie was a barrel racer before coming to MM. She is sensitive to the rider's legs, so for now we will keep her walking.

What a weekend! The SPURS adults spent the weekend at MM reviewing skills, getting updates, and catching up. Over the next few weeks, we will be updating the information so we can all be on the same page!

Welcome SPURS!

This is a website to help us to get to know our MM horses better! My idea was to keep a log of our current herd, their photos, specific quirks and various other information. In the past we had trading cards, but through this blog, I anticipate learning our horses better.

As we get this blog rolling, I would like to add other riding staff to help with the administration of the information.
